People ask me why I visit cicLAvia and other Open Street events in SoCal. My response is it creates a sense of car-free utopia, it is less expensive than traveling to Copenhagen or Amsterdam, to see and meet friends, to explore dowtown without horrific gridlock and car fumes, and last but not he least to checkout #pupsonbikes and cargo bikes.
